I’m a designer driven by simplicity, clarity, and purpose. I enjoy taking small ideas and shaping them into functional, engaging experiences—whether through branding, digital products, or UX-Design. My work is guided by functional aesthetics—design that solves real problems, creates delight, and remains relevant over time.

A UX and UI system designed to bring clarity and consistency across platforms, building on the recently established visual identity to create intuitive, engaging interactions for users.
Role
As Design Lead, I was responsible for:
– Led UX strategy and user‑centred design process
– Conducted user research and analysis to define workflows
– Designed intuitive user flows and interaction models
– Developed scalable UI systems and component libraries
– Oversaw UI design implementation across digital touchpoints
Context
This project for Quartz Ltd focused entirely on UX and UI design as a key part of developing a new digital identity. Quartz needed a digital experience that clearly communicates functionality, supports usability, and holds consistency across platforms.
Strategic foundation
Through a user‑centred design process focused on user needs, behaviours, and goals, foundational insights were gathered to shape UX decisions. This ensured the experience would be intuitive, efficient, and aligned with Quartz’s digital identity goals.
Core idea
To create a cohesive UX and UI system with clear structure, consistent components, and a unified visual languagethat supports usability and accessibility. The design needed to be flexible and scalable, ensuring seamless experiences across different platforms and environments.
UI Design & Components
A consistent UI system was developed with clear visual language, typographic hierarchy, colour system, and reusable components. The UI design supports usability and accessibility while reflecting Quartz’s digital identity, ensuring visual consistency and ease of use across devices.
Implementation
The UX and UI design guidelines and system were documented and handed off for development, ensuring that components, interactions, and patterns could be implemented consistently. This provided a scalable foundation for Quartz’s future digital development.
Outcome
The new UX and UI system not only elevated Quartz’s digital identity but also significantly improved clarity, usability, and consistency across platforms and touchpoints. This resulted in a more intuitive, efficient, and engaging experience for users, strengthening Quartz’s digital presence and aligning the design with user needs and business goals.
