Context
Dirac is globally recognised for its audio algorithm, trusted by prestigious audio brands. Yet the company behind the technology remained largely invisible. To close that gap, Dirac needed a visual identity and employer brand promise that would elevate recognition externally while resonating clearly internally.
Strategic foundation
Through brand analysis, market research, and internal stakeholder workshops, we identified the core needs for Dirac’s visual identity: clarity in communicating complex technology, consistency in visual language, and a scalable system for applying the brand across all touchpoints.
Core idea
To create a flexible, modular visual system that makes Dirac’s complex technology visible and approachable. The system is built around a dynamic graphic element inspired by motion and sound, reinforcing recognition, evoking the flow and energy of audio, and creating a coherent, emotionally engaging visual language across all touchpoints.
Visual identity system
A structured type hierarchy, thoughtful color system, custom illustrations representing Dirac’s core values, and adaptable components were developed alongside a dynamic graphic element inspired by motion and sound. This motif evokes the flow and energy of audio, reinforcing recognition and creating a coherent, emotionally engaging visual language. The system ensures consistent application across all channels, platforms, and touchpoints.
Outcome
The new visual identity system provides a cohesive, flexible, and emotionally engaging foundation for Dirac’s brand. The dynamic graphic element, combined with custom illustrations for the company’s core values, reinforces recognition, communicates the energy and flow of Dirac’s technology, and ensures a consistent, approachable presence across all channels and touchpoints. The system has strengthened internal alignment, enhanced external visibility, and created a scalable framework for future brand and communication initiatives.
